We just completed a project with Excellent Contracting and we're extremely happy with the work. They were meticulous in their treatment of our 120 year old brownstone, doing research on some of the details before making restorations. The timeline extended a little beyond originally planned, but that was due to the extensive details they immersed themselves in restoring. They were very aware and appreciative of the historical significance of the architecture they were working on. It was actually exciting to watch the progress on a daily and weekly basis. The crew was respectful and helpful whenever any questions were asked. It's heartening to know there are craftsmen still capable of doing this quality of work. We had Excellent repave the concrete in front of our house and install a vapor barrier along the base of the building. The work was impeccable and done on time. We're now lining up two additional jobs with Excellent to fix basement walls and repair leakage under our stairs. Mishu, who runs the business, is a gentleman who makes his customers feel like they're special and taken care of. He has come over repeatedly to troubleshoot and present me with a suite of options for how to deal with a variety of issues. He's honest and up front about what he can and cannot do. Highly recommended.
